The brief: To add colour to the kitchen – there were initial thoughts of a blosson tree but the client was open to suggestions. The client wanted to create the illusion of bringing the height of the ceilings down and make the room feel more cosy.
The setting: Panoramic views across the British countryside with floor to ceiling windows that make the most of the surrounding landscape.
The space: Exposed wooden beams creating a natural ‘pergola’.
Existing feature accessories: Large copper planters with complementary light fittings. Upholstered chairs in tan and fuchsia.
Achieved look: The interior installation worked seamlessly with the large-scale natural vista. The team created a fresh and natural looking feature that worked beautifully within the room. The combination of wood and complimentary wooden colour tones worked beautifully with the pop of colour, fresh greens and sleek design elements. The colour was vibrant and bold and the quality of the foliage was second to none.

This is also replicated in the hallway where two planters create natural features out of the adjoining doorways.”
