Hiring Trees FAQs
How do I get a quotation?
The easiest way is to submit a contact form with the type, size and quantity of trees that you would like, your event date and the venue address. If you can also share installation and collection timings, we will be able to provide the most accurate quote.
Can you assist with designing my event?
Yes. As part of our service, we work closely with you to transform your event into something truly special. Balancing aesthetics, atmosphere, and budget.
Do you have a minimum hire requirement?
Yes, our minimum hire is £500 (excluding VAT and delivery charges).
What is your payment policy?
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the trees. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date. If your event is within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.
What is the hire period?
There is no fixed “standard” hire period. You are welcome to hire the trees for as long as you need, subject to stock availability. Share your dates and timings and we will advise on the best options and how pricing changes depending on the length of hire. For reference, the prices in our rental brochure are based on a typical 24 hour event hire to give a helpful starting point.
How does delivery & collection work?
Our experienced installation team will arrive on site at the agreed time. Each product is built in your chosen position, safely secured, and finished with fresh moss at the base to complete the look. We will return at the agreed collection time to dismantle and remove everything. We do not offer dry hire. Our trained team are specialists in handling the trees and furniture safely, packing them correctly, and ensuring the styling is consistent from one event to the next.
How is delivery & collection calculated?
Delivery, installation, and collection costs are calculated based on mileage from our warehouse, the number of vehicles and crew required for your order, access at the venue, and your installation/collection timings.
Do the trees require power?
The majority of our LED Trees and Christmas Trees require mains power (standard UK 13-amp plug socket).
Please ensure power is available close to the trees to maintain a clean finish and reduce any
trip hazards. We can assist with some extension leads, but we do not provide an in house production team.
Can the trees go outside?
Yes, please let us know when you enquire so we can advise.
Most of our trees can be placed outside, but this is reviewed case by case depending on
exposure to the elements. Outdoor installations may need additional weighting for wind and in the event of adverse weather we would require a contingency plan.
What areas do you cover?
We can and have installed across the UK and Europe but we typically deliver within a 4 hour radius of our HQ in Winchester, Hampshire. Please get in touch to discuss.
Can I see the trees & furniture in person?
Yes, Trees & Furniture can be viewed by appointment only in our Showroom (based in Winchester, Hampshire). We will need as much notice as possible, as the products need to be built ahead of your visits.
Can I move the trees?
No, our experienced installation team must handle any movement or repositioning of our products due to their size and weight. If trees need to be moved during your hire, we can arrange this, but it will incur an additional charge depending on waiting time and distance to the new position.
Bespoke FAQs
What do you mean by “bespoke”?
Bespoke enables us to have a blank canvas and create something truly unique for our clients. Every bespoke project is designed specifically for your space, brief and brand. From scale and structure to foliage mix, colour palette and finish, each element is carefully considered and custom-built by our in-house team. Whilst the basis of our work is artificial trees and foliage, we have metal, woodwork and other material capabilities to build structures and pieces for our clients.
What types of bespoke installations do you create?
We design, build and install our bespoke installations and as such have freedom to create anything our clients ask for. Our experience is strongest for statement artificial trees, immersive foliage and floral installations, feature planting, green walls, ceiling installations and sculptural biophilic elements for interiors and exteriors. However, whilst the basis of our work is artificial trees and foliage, we have metal, woodwork and other material capabilities to build structures and bespoke pieces for our clients.
Do you work with commercial and residential clients?
Yes. We work across retail, hospitality, offices, workplaces, brand activations, and private residences, tailoring our approach to suit each environment and its practical requirements.
Can you design something specifically for our brand or space?
Absolutely. Our bespoke service is rooted in collaboration. We take time to understand your brand, architecture, customer journey and operational needs to create something truly unique and site-specific.
How realistic are your artificial trees and plants?
Our trees and planting are exceptionally realistic and carefully curated from the very best materials available. Many are indistinguishable from real foliage, even at close range and are chosen for their longevity, texture, and natural movement.
Do you offer a design service?
Yes. We provide a full design-led service, including concept development, mood boards, visuals, and technical drawings where required. For larger or more complex projects, a design fee may apply and is often offset against the final commission.
Can you work from architects’ or designers’ drawings?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with architects, interior designers, and specifiers and are happy to work from existing drawings, develop designs further, or propose alternative solutions where appropriate.
Are your installations suitable for high-traffic environments?
Yes. Our installations are designed with durability and safety in mind, making them ideal for busy commercial spaces while maintaining a refined, high-end aesthetic.
Do you install nationwide and internationally?
We are based in the UK but deliver projects nationwide and internationally, working closely with clients to manage logistics, installation, and site coordination.
How long does a bespoke project take?
Timelines vary depending on scale and complexity. Smaller commissions may take a few weeks, while large-scale installations can take several months from concept to completion. We will always provide clear lead times at the outset.
Are your products fire rated & UV resistant?
Yes, we offer fire-retardant and UV resistant artificial foliage to meet safety and external installation requirements.
Do bespoke installations require maintenance?
Our artificial installations are low-maintenance by design. We can also offer guidance on care and where appropriate, ongoing maintenance or refresh services.
What is the minimum spend for bespoke projects?
Our bespoke work has a minimum spend of £3,000 excluding delivery and VAT.
What materials do you use?
Where possible we use reclaimed and treated wood sourced locally to our workshops. We also work with a wide range of materials, selecting on a balance of suitability, aesthetics, durability and appropriateness for the space.
Can you work within a set budget?
Yes. We’re experienced in designing to a range of budgets and will be transparent about costs from the outset. We’ll always advise on where to invest for maximum impact and longevity.
Why do you charge for a site visit?
The site visit fee reflects the time spent out of the studio by our senior team, along with travel time and expenses. This cost is fully refunded if you proceed with the project and deducted from the final invoice upon acceptance.
Why is a site visit necessary?
A site visit allows us to properly assess the space, understand practical considerations and ensure we’re the right fit to work together before progressing with a bespoke design.
