2025 weddings are here and we are so excited to share with you our well informed wedding trend predictions for the coming year.
1. 360 degree bars
Twilight Trees were ahead of the game with this one but Vogue has now declared 2025 the year of the 360 degree bar and we couldn’t be more in agreement. They are aesthetically pleasing, allow swift service and are social hubs for people to hang out during the party. We are excited to share with you that February will see the launch of two new circular bars from Twilight Trees and we’ve got an inkling that they may have a busy year…

2. Wedding videos
We’ve reached a point where wedding videos have evolved so that they don’t just record the day, but capture its essence. Wedding videos are now mini productions in themselves and employ the right videographer and your wedding video will be the culmination of your curation. The personal elements, the tiny details, the light as the wedding goes from day to night, the first foot on the dancefloor. Wedding videos of 2025 will be emotive, aspirational and personal.
Furthermore, wedding content creators are set to be a big thing this year. These content professionals will attend your wedding and candidly shoot throughout the day as well as creating fun and interactive transitions. They will weave it into content for you to share and to influence for years to come.
3. Decorating with drapery
Draped fabric offers an organic, intimate and soft way to dress a space. Done on a grand scale, this style stands on its own two feet. Whether choosing to drape walls, ceilings or a grand entrance, the bigger the better. Don’t be afraid to use colour; whilst neutrals offer a classic and sophisticated look, you can afford to be braver if this is your key decoration.
Fabric elements in general are set to be big this year. Soft layers, elegant draped tabletops, rooms within rooms. Fabric is definitely a way to add to the romantic feel of your wedding space and we’re here for it.

4. Sustainability
This trend isn’t going anywhere and in 2025, more than ever sustainability is a key focus for couples. From using local suppliers, serving locally-sourced food, biodegradable decor and hiring elements from props to dresses, sustainability is stylish and here to stay.
As you know, Twilight Trees has had a focus on our sustainability journey for quite some time and not only do all of our trees get used time and time again but we offset all carbon, plant a tree for every transaction and manufacture many of our trees using reclaimed timber foraged from local farmland. 5. Bows
Bows are just beginning. 2024 saw the boom of the bow. Our hand tied bows were requested time and time again to adorn our trees and this is a trend that is only set to get bigger. Christmas 2024 saw three 2 metre bows commissioned for a restaurant in London and if this trend takes off in the way it’s predicted, they won’t be the last.
