Mortimers Jewellers, Exeter - Christmas Shopfront Installation
The centrepiece is an oversized illuminated wreath, dressed with warm-white lights and Mortimers’ signature blue-and-gold baubles. It frames the upper window, transforming the façade into a glowing festive landmark. At its peak sits Mortimer the Mouse, a hand-painted character created just for this project, playfully “fishing” for illuminated gift boxes below.
A row of matching Christmas trees and a handcrafted Mortimers-blue bow anchor the display, each built and painted in-house to reflect the jeweller’s heritage and attention to detail.
The installation has quickly become a seasonal attraction in Exeter, drawing increased footfall, delighting passers-by and shining a celebratory spotlight on Mortimers’ 55-year milestone. It’s a joyful blend of creativity, craftsmanship and storytelling that brings the shopfront to life for the festive season.
