A Natural Touch for a New Space in a Welsh Wedding Venue
As part of the launch for The Lake House, a striking new addition to the stunning Sylen Lakes wedding venue in Carmarthenshire, Twilight Trees was invited to help transform the space ahead of an exclusive Open Weekend. The Twilight bespoke team headed into the heart of the Welsh countryside to bring the venue’s blank canvas to life with signature botanical touches.
Working with a blank canvas:
With an aim to infuse natural character and immersive greenery, the Twilight team curated a tailored installation that included:
– A bespoke artificial tree, striking in structure and rich in texture, serving as a central focal point of organic drama. The tree grows upwards and out, as if it has been growing in the venue itself and is entwined with the building.
– Sculptural planting within the planter helped define the space and create a natural divide to the bar.
– Hanging ivy installations, adding vertical interest and evoking a sense of enchantment and wild beauty overhead.
Together, these elements transformed The Lake House into a vivid, foliage-filled experience—perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and memorable photo moments.

Nestled within 50 acres of breathtaking countryside, Sylen Lakes is a family-run venue with over a decade of wedding-hosting experience. Their new purpose-built ‘Lake House’ sits elevated between two lakes, offering panoramic water views and versatile event space.

The client’s request was simple yet powerful: “bring in some greenery and make it magical.” Having followed our journey for some time, they had always dreamed of having a Twilight tree to complete their venue, and we were thrilled to make that vision a reality.
Proud to now feature a Twilight Trees installation, the team at Sylen Lakes saw their blank canvas transformed into an immersive, botanical space. Our captivating design seamlessly harmonised with the natural surroundings, while elevating the indoor experience with our signature style.
The result? A dreamy, verdant setting where modern design meets botanical wonder, ready to welcome couples and guests into a venue where memories are meant to flourish.
